Peter Williams is Managing Partner and CEO of Annapolis Capital, an oil and gas private equity firm he co-founded in 2006. For the 12 years prior, Peter served in executive management positions in, and as a director of, numerous public and private oil and gas companies. Most recently, Peter was the CEO and Chairman of two successful private oil and gas companies, Krang Energy Inc. and Passage Energy Inc. Peter also had a term as a governor of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, Peter served as Senior Vice President and COO of Stampeder Exploration Ltd., a public company listed on both the TSX and NYSE. Peter has been a director of a number of other oil and gas start-ups, namely Avalanche Energy Limited, Ice Energy Limited, Glacier Energy Limited, Berland Exploration Ltd., Greenbank Energy Ltd., Breton Energy Inc., Corinthian Energy Corp., Caltex Energy Inc., Bulldog Oil & Gas Inc., Evolve Exploration Ltd., Highrock Energy Ltd., Corinthian Exploration Corp., Hawk Exploration Ltd., and Painted Pony Energy Ltd. Peter is currently a director of Caltex Resources Ltd., Venturion Oil Limited and Artis Exploration Ltd. Prior to entering the oil and gas industry, Peter practiced law at Bennett Jones for 11 years. Peter earned a B.A. (economics) in 1977 and an LL.B. in 1981, both from Dalhousie University.
Mr. Glick joined NGP in 2006 and serves as Partner of the NGP funds. He brings over 33 years of legal and financial experience to the firm’s structuring and execution activities. Mr. Glick plays an active role in the full range of NGP’s investment process and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee.
Previously, Mr. Glick served as Managing Director and General Counsel for NGP Midstream & Resources from 2006 to 2008. He was a founding partner of Kosmos Energy Holdings and served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2003 to 2006. His previous tenures also include Hunt Resources and Hunt Oil Company (1999 to 2003), Gulf Canada Resources, Limited (1994 to 1999), and Torch Energy Advisors (1994). Mr. Glick was a Partner in the law firm of Vinson & Elkins from 1985 to 1994 and has been a director of six publicly-traded companies; HighPoint Resources, Vantage Energy, Northern Blizzard Resources, Inc., Parallel Energy Trust, Westside Energy, Inc. and Gulf Indonesia Resources.
Mr. Glick received a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, in 1982 from Tulane University and earned a J.D. in 1985 from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review.
David Ambedian is currently an independent businessman primarily focused on exploration and production opportunities in Canada’s energy sector. His experience spans over 30 years, with his most recent position being the Sr. Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer for Mosaic Energy Ltd. Prior to joining Mosaic, he was a founding Partner with 32° Capital, a private energy focused investment management company, a Director, co-founder and VP, Finance of Glacier Energy Limited, a co-founder, VP, Finance & CFO of both Ice Energy and Avalanche Energy Limited. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and holds a Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta.
Brent is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in both the domestic and international oil and gas industries. Most recently, Brent was a co-founder and Vice President, Finance & CFO and Corporate Secretary of Caltex Energy Inc. Immediately prior thereto he was a co-founder and Vice President, Finance & CFO of Krang Energy Inc. Brent has held additional positions with several publicly traded domestic and international E&P companies with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, financial reporting and taxation.
Brett is a co-founder and Director of Caltex Resources and a professional geologist with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Previously, he was a co-founder, Vice President Exploration and a Director at Caltex Energy Inc., which grew to over 11,500 boepd in 5 years and sold in July 2011. Brett served as a director for Roke Technologies Ltd from 2014 to 2019 and earlier in his career, held various geological positions at Krang Energy Inc. and Husky Energy.
Tom is a professional engineer with 24 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry across basins in Western Canada and the United States. Prior to co-founding Caltex Resources Ltd., Tom co-founded Caltex Energy Inc. and as President & CEO led its growth through the drill-bit and acquisitions from start-up to production levels greater than 11,500 boe/day when the company was sold in July 2011. Prior to Caltex, he was co-founder and Sr. Vice President Natural Gas of Krang Energy Inc., a private start-up where he was responsible for all aspects of strategy and execution for the gas business and was instrumental in the growth of the company’s production from start-up to 5,000 boe/day prior to its sale in 2005. Previously, he had various technical and management roles with Burlington Resources in Calgary and Midland, Texas. Tom received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1996. Tom is currently a director of privately held Compass Well Services, a Texas-based pressure pumping company.
